Our Vision

Simonton is a partnership of learners collaborating to achieve a life long process of academic and social growth for our future leaders. We utilize data and research based curricula aligned with the AZ State Standards. Our teaching and learning strategies are implemented by passionate, committed, and highly qualified educators.

Our Mission

Simonton staff and community will collaborate in a dedicated partnership committed to helping students achieve personal, academic, and social excellence. The students will demonstrate their level of achievement based on AZ State Standards. Utilizing data and research based interventions, staff will differentiate instruction based on student needs. Our students will leave Simonton prepared with the skills, knowledge, and abilities for continued success as life long learners, future leaders, and individuals of character.

Parent Belief Statement

Being completely committed to the academic development of my child, I teach and model the importance of participation in education through regular, consistent, and timely attendance in their academic activities. I value the opportunity to prepare my child for school participation.

As a parent, homework activities become the primary shared element of my child’s education. The cooperative relationship between my child’s teacher, the curriculum, and myself becomes the method by which I am able to be aware of and involved in my child’s progress.

I look forward to and seek out feedback and direction from the teacher through scheduled teacher conferences or requested meetings. I value their experience and instruction and assume they value my intimate understanding of my child. Our positive cooperative communication will have a direct impact on the academic success of my child.

My vested interest in my child will kindle a genuine respect for the faculty and pride for the school my child attends. I seek to make supportive and long lasting relationships with school staff. Through my support of academics, activities, and relationships, I model the pride and respect that I desire my child to have.
